Cristina Ruiz began to conceive her work in
a city where few artists have not been inspired to create a masterpiece.
At the beginning of his race, she decided to adopt Paris like
departure point, and was there where one integrated to a factory
of vitrales and restoration to learn to mix pigments and to make
his own colors, to fuse sand to obtain, after many tests, the
size and precise color for the creation and reconstruction of
vitrales. In the experimentation of the materials and its use,
a necessity grew great to know the techniques the painting that
until then revealed to him like a secret. The impressive thing
visited with great curiosity all the museums discovering its step
that turns out to have as opposed to himself works of teachers
as Gogh, Monet and Sorolla Go. This one last one influenced of
an important way in her. With him it discovered that the light
was a factor important to inject own life to a painting.
In its constant search, it visited all the churches, monuments
and buildings that could. It coexisted with people of different
cultures, routine characters other people's to the own one.
When arriving at Mexico already it knew the techniques the drawing
and constantly sketched in an eagerness to perfect its outline.
Later it knew Guadalupe Trueba, of that mainly learned the handling
of the oil and of the color.
Cristina Ruiz is a painter with an artistic conscience conformed
good. This determining to learn new techniques constantly because
it needs many tools to solve a picture, it enjoys much its work
and it needs each you see more time because never it finishes
learning, always must be in everything, expressing and removing
the maximum to him from benefit to its experiences.
The compositions in their work are balanced, with intuition by
the space and the forms that is to him innate. The outline in
its drawings is very clean and without titubeos and many of the
times it accompanies them with delicate pinceladas by smooth colors
giving to enhancement to the volume and the silhouettes. Another
one of the latent elements is the gold leaf, that discovered when
arriving at France. It learned well his use, applying it to his
linen cloths to catch more light and to give a texture different
from the one from the oil, and thus to play with the surface of
his works. It happens the same to the transparencies, that apply
to way of cortinillas creating a sensation of smoothness and mystery
in their personages.
At the moment work of Cristina is focused in forms feminine that
of a subtle way takes to think to us about an all organic one,
that is to say, that the figure of the woman complements natural
atmospheres and the colors of the Earth, which they are not more
than a metaphor of the life, but of a life who is in balance with
the others without corrupting them.
Cristina it likes the beautiful thing, is why it uses to women
of different appearances in his work. For her the feminine body
is more enriching, is the constant source of convulsos feelings
and winding ways, in all the senses.
Cristina Ruiz is an integral painter in the heat of use of her
freedom; she is an artist who generate metaphors of hers experiences
